Christina Ungaro

Christina is responsible for driving the business development agenda with a focus on M&A. She works across functions to align on market and product strategies and shape our corporate strategy.

She brings to Wind River nearly 20 years of proven experience helping companies transform and grow through acquisitions, divestitures, investments, joint ventures, and partnerships, including experience acquiring both private and public market companies and cross-border M&A. She most recently led global corporate development at the Jones Lang LaSalle commercial real estate firm and previously spent a decade at IBM in the corporate development organization, where she worked on numerous acquisitions across software, services, and hardware. She began her career on Wall Street as a sell-side research analyst at Jefferies & ABN AMRO covering the telecommunications industry. Her industry expertise spans telecom, technology, software/SaaS, and professional services.

She holds a B.S. degree in finance and psychology from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Russ Hartz

Russ is a deeply experienced Corporate Development professional, with specific expertise in strategy development, M&A, investments and post-merger integration. He manages global M&A activity at Ansys, Inc., the worldwide leader in engineering simulation software.  Prior to joining Ansys, Russ served in a similar role for 12 years on SAP’s global Corporate Development team, negotiating and managing M&A and strategic investment transactions of all sizes, from multi-billion-dollar deals to small IP acquisitions.  Russ began his M&A career in 1999 practicing corporate and securities law at a large Philadelphia law firm, advising clients on M&A deals as well as a broad range of other commercial transactions, corporate governance and securities law compliance.
